The Tulsa chapter of the National Albert Schweitzer Fellowship recently announced its 2017-2018 cohort and among them are two first year students from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, Kristen Faucett (occupational therapy) and MacGyver Norris (physical therapy). Kristen and MacGyver join the ranks of over 270 graduate students across the country who will be Schweitzer Fellows – the aim of which is to build the skills necessary to lead efforts to address health inequities in their communities. This year’s group is comprised of 14 Fellows from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma, and Langston University. Read more here.
